Our Story & Why S.E.A. Kayaking
Leading sea kayaking in Thailand since 2009 — 100% locally owned, and driven by genuine Thai hospitality.
We know these waters. We love sharing them.
S.E.A. Kayaking began in 2009 with a passion for exploring the beautiful coastline and islands of Koh Chang by sea kayak. Over the years, we’ve built our reputation on great trips, quality equipment, safety and, most importantly, a genuine love for the sea.
In 2022, founders Andy and Jummy handed over the reins to Amy and Tu, beginning a new chapter as a 100% locally owned and operated business in Koh Chang, Trat.
Today, Amy and Tu run S.E.A. Kayaking together with Don, a close friend and trusted partner. We bring different skills, experiences and perspectives to the team, but share the same belief: the best kayaking experiences come from knowing the place, taking care of it, and sharing it with the right people.
With years of kayaking experience, deep local knowledge, high-quality equipment and genuine Thai hospitality, we want every trip to be safe, personal, relaxed and a little adventurous.
Whether you’re an experienced sea kayaker or picking up a paddle for the first time, come explore the Thai coast with us. We’ll show you some of our favourite places.
Three reasons paddlers choose us
Quality Equipment
High-quality sea kayaks, paddles and safety gear built for proper sea kayaking.
Experienced Guides
Local guides who know these waters — professionally trained, with years of experience on the sea.
Small Groups
More personal, more flexible and better for the experience. We keep our groups small by design.
Our home: Koh Chang Marine National Park
52 islands. One incredible playground.
S.E.A. Kayaking is based in Salakphet, on the southern coast of Koh Chang, within Koh Chang Marine National Park.
With sheltered bays, mangrove forests, quiet beaches, rocky coastlines and surrounding islands, the park offers a remarkable range of sea kayaking experiences — from calm waters for beginners to longer journeys, open-water crossings and multi-day expeditions for experienced paddlers.
This is the coastline we know, love and call home.
Explore, but never exploit.
We believe the places we explore should be left better than we found them.
We work with local suppliers, minimise our impact and follow Leave No Trace principles whenever we’re on the water. Explore responsibly.
